This week we have a post from JORDAN QUINN PHOTOGRAPHY. Jordan is a natural light photographer based in seattle, washington. She aims to provide an illustrative style of photography when she documents weddings, lifestyles, and commercial brands. She is featuring our 12×12 book in top grain black. Enjoy!
this past year, i started offering albums in my wedding collections. it was time. as a little girl, i remember flipping through my parents’ fine art album from their day. it was delightfully heavy, filled with thick pages of every memory. it told a story beginning to end. it has lasted impeccably well for over 30 years and remains on their coffee table as a statement piece, inviting others to look through it. in essence, it stands on its own…off of instagram, off of a DVD, off the computer. albums invite my couples to relive their day tangibly. something to have and to hold and as you can tell, i’m a huge believer in investing in one. billy and i will be making an album. no doubt. there’s no way we will let all of those photos live on the computer alone. there are just certain things in life that call for preservation and the extra investment.
as a photographer, i searched high and low for an album company i could feel proud to work with. i knew i wanted my albums to be a substantial item. i knew i wanted to offer leather bound, lay flat, archival quality albums.
when i found madera books, i fell in love immediately. their album designs are modern but timeless, clean, simple, fresh, and high quality. i loved the colors of the leather and the customizations i could offer to my clients. beyond that, i was so thoroughly impressed with their customer service. i never turned back after that.
i’m proud to offer my fabulous couples albums that complement their photos. i’m proud to offer my clients a product well worth the investment. and one that they’ll sit with for decades to come.
to all my new clients, ask me about albums and all the ways to customize your own. if you’re on the fence, here’s a peek!
seen below: black leather, inset cover photo, name engraved
also offered: numerous leather color swatches (see here)
cover photo and name engraving optional

Today we have a post from ERIN FOREHAND PHOTOGRAPHY. Erin is a photographer located in the Harrisonburg, VA area. She is a wife, mother and lover of love stories. She is featuring our 25 spread 10×10 book in top grain khaki. Enjoy!
When I first started photographing weddings, I didn’t really offer albums. I had a company I sort of liked so I had an album made and I just wasn’t truly happy with it. Last year I decided I needed to get my act together and really offer my clients something more. Something I was happy with as the photographer. Something I could be truly proud of and excited to show my clients!!! I had several friends who had used Madera and were very happy with them, so I decided to give them a try and let me tell you… I’m so happy I did!
With digital photography so popular most people end up with their wedding pictures on a disc, flash drive, or just sitting on their computer. Beautiful images deserve so much more than that! You as a couple work SO HARD on your wedding day, and your photographer works SO HARD to give you an amazing experience and gorgeous images! They should be on display for everyone to see! I think that a beautiful, high quality album is an amazing way to do that!
I chose to showcase Liz and Clarke‘s amazing wedding in my new sample album! All albums come in these incredible leather cases!
Thank you Erin for sharing your album with us!

Today we have a post by SARAH SCOTT PHOTO. Sarah is a wedding and lifestyle photographer located in Ottawa region. She is featuring one of our portrait books in a 10×10 size. Enjoy!
Thank you Sarah for sharing your dreamy photos with us!

Today’s post is so exiting for us! We just received two gorgeous new sample albums in from a company called Madera Books. This is our first time ordering through this company and we are blown away by these handcrafted albums. The feel of the pages, the quality of the printing, and the attention to detail throughout have made us fall in love with this company. We have refreshed our product line and we are so excited to offer this amazing piece of art to our clients. Our standard album has always been a 10×10″ square, however we are now offering an 8×12″ vertical album as well. We are not photographers that often push products, but there is no substitute for a fine art wedding book. Scrolling through hundreds and hundreds of images on a computer screen is not only a daunting task, we feel that it cheapens the beauty of each individual image. However, having a finely curated collection of the absolute best images from your day in a leather-bound book gives a whole new life to your wedding photographs. The day you got married you started a new family, a new legacy. The wedding album is the first heirloom in that new legacy.
Our goal with our photography and our business has always been to keep things beautiful and classic. We are not into overprocessing our images or shooting in a way that will look outdated in two years. With this in mind, It only felt natural that we would carry that same classic aesthetic into the products we offer. Here are a few things that we love most about these new albums: They lay completely flat when open and the crease between the pages is almost non-existent. The pages are a smooth matte finish and incredibly thick. There are a variety of fine leather and linen choices available that are beautiful and classic. The designs of each spread are clean and minimalist, we never overlap images or use borders, this ensures the book will not be outdated even 50 years from now. Here is a brief preview of the albums (there are 30 pages in each album).
Thank you Sam and Brad for sharing your wonderful pictures and post with us!

Today we have a beautiful post by HALEY SHEFFIELD. Haley loves weddings, people, trees, flowers and meadows. She also loves Psalms, C.S. Lewis, dreaming, singing and writing. And above all she is passionate and dedicated to capturing the love you share. In this post she is featuring our 8×10 book in Marlboro.
If there’s any one thing I love about my job, it is that I am capturing real, lasting memories. My heart melts at the thought of the pages of your wedding album opening on your 30th wedding anniversary–the two of you reminiscing on the day your journey began. I believe your photos are so much more than a profile picture or a share on instagram. I believe that a photograph really does hold a memory worth a thousand words. For generations to come, the people you love will get to know you through your photos, identify with you through your photos, and, ultimately, remember you through your photos.
That is why every one of my weddings now includes your images delivered in a custom wooden box with a collection of archival prints for you to remember your day by. In addition, your digital images are housed on custom wooden USB for you to share online and store on your computer.
In addition, I offer a custom leather album hand-crafted to withstand the test of time and keep your memories housed on archival quality paper that wont bend or stain as you pour over its pages again and again.
Like most women, I started dreaming about weddings and marriage at a very early age. I remember sitting for hours with my siblings and cousins looking through our grandparents’ old photos. Even then, I was fascinated by the idea of a love that grows old as you do. To this day, I consider those moments as the start of my love for photographs and capturing memories.
Many of those feelings I had as a young girl still resonate with me today. Quality over quantity. The value of a moment captured in time. The pricelessness of holding a photograph of someone you love. The importance of having a family heirloom.
So what my heart beats for is this:
Your memories made tangible.
Thank you Haley for sharing these wonderful pictures.
