In this post he is featuring a 12×12 album in light brown calf leather. I leave you with his post and pictures…
I decided to start working with a new vendor to make high-end wedding albums. My sample album arrived in the mail today. It’s gorgeous. A big 12×12 album with leather cover, lay flat, near invisible gutter in the middle, imprinting, cover photo and sweet box that matches the quality of the book. The future looks really good. The pictures below are a weak attempt at showcasing the album. If you would like to see it in person drop me a line.

Today we have JACK DAVOLIO PHOTOGRAPHY. Jack is a wedding photographer located in the UK…but he is willing to travel anywhere to yours. In this post he’s featuring a 10×10 portrait book. Please have a look at his wonderful photos and enjoy.
Last Monday I received my first wedding album print of the year, from printing company Madera. I have now posted the album to New Zealand where Nick & Juliane live. The quality of the album is outstanding and it has a perfectly binded spine, layflat pages and the paper feels great to touch! The one you see in the photographs is the 10×10 inches Portraits Book, it weights about 2 kilos and it feels durable. I see no printing mistakes which I have experienced with other printing companies, such as pages being slightly tilted or photographs not centered. The book is just perfect, the pages are thick and it could not be any better.
So yeah, photographers, I highly recommend printing company Madera.
Brides and grooms to be, get your photographs printed. They look so much better on fine art paper, and the difference can’t be seen through a screen, you just have to touch them and see them in your hands. I will get sample albums to show, for anybody interested in hiring me as their wedding photographer. I bet that after you see one, you’ll want one.
Thanks Jack for sharing your photos!

Today we have a post from CATHERINE GIROUX. Catherine is a wonderful photographer in Montreal and though her post is in french she completely captures the beauty of our books with her pictures. Enjoy!!
(Here she is talking about the importance of having your photographs on display on paper and not in a dusty hard drive somewhere in a corner, otherwise what’s the point of photos right?)
Thank you Catherine for sharing your post with us!

The only way to really cherish your photos is something to have and to hold. A CD or a DVD is fun to have… An album is the ultimate way of presenting your story. My view on serving my clients is to offer them the best possible service and products. In search of the most beautiful and high-quality album, I’m now teaming up with Madera for my Exclusive line albums.
Madera Books is being managed by Michael Norwood, who is a wedding photographer himself. So he knows what a good wedding album is and what the needs really are. One thing stands out with Madera Books: handmade quality that will last years and years.
The first thing you see is the awesome leather-covered box, which every Madera book gets shipped in. A beautiful box to store your heirloom safely.
A nice padded interior keeps your book safe from scratches.
The beauty it is…
High quality photographic paper with a black core, fur just that little extra touch
Straight cut pages, no defaults are being tolerated.
Premium leather for a durable cover and a nice soft feeling
Possibilities for debossing cover and spine. I took advantage of this to get my studio name on the back of my sample album!
That’s what is meant by a “lay-flat” album. No more words needed.
A gutter of only 1 mm makes sure you will never get discolored or cracked photos in the centre.
Lay-out possibilities stay the same as ever… it’s your story!
Thank you so much for letting us re-share your post!
