Happy Monday! Today we are sharing a post by ABBEY DOMOND. It’s an older post, but a popular color for our linen books and Abbey’s photos are great so we figured why not show it to you. ABBEY is a Connecticut/New York wedding photographer who loves to capture your most important moments and tell your story. Red velvet cupcakes are her favorite, she loves diet coke and Scandal, and she’s featuring our 10×10 linen book in smoke.
As a photographer, my goal is all about capturing moments that tell the story of your day. While my packages come with digital images, albums are a beautiful way to showcase your wedding images. I know, in this age of instant access, digital is the preferred method of receiving images. However, 10, 20, 30 years from now when you want to take your grandchildren through your wedding day, what will stand the test of time – an outdated disc of images or a beautifully designed album?
I’m soo excited to be using Madera Books for my clients’ wedding albums. These flush mount albums are a gorgeous way to display your images. Each album features a lay flay design, thick archival pages, and the choice of a leather (faux or real) or linen cover. Each album holds up to 40 pages and comes packaged in a display box. I received my newest sample album with the linen cover and was super impressed. Here are a few pages from Sherena and Earnest’ wedding last summer. Enjoy!!!
Thank you Abbey for sharing with us!

Today we have a lovely navy book by Paul Francis Photography. Paul is a photographer serving the tri-state area, but available to travel globally. He loves capturing beautiful photographs, moments and memories, but above all he loves photographing weddings and engagements because of the love they signify. Paul is featuring our 10 x 10 book in Navy.

Today’s post is an oldie by MARITHA MAE PHOTOGRAPHY. Maritha is an LA based photographer who in her words is “making the beautiful come alive”. She specializes in global storytelling and appreciates working with people who appreciate simple, unrefined elegance. The featured book is our 12×12 in black calf leather.
Just finally got my sample album for this year in the mail recently! For all of you who have been wondering what they look like, I thought I’d do a little catwalk here of the type of albums I use. These state-of-the-art robust leather albums feel as soft as baby skin and have the smell of sheer bliss. All my studio albums are hand cut and bound state-of-the-art flush mount albums with pages printed on premium Kodak Endura paper using Noritsu and Durst professional large format printers. Each is backed with a 100% lifetime guarantee.
Flush mount albums differ from regular photo books in that they are hand mounted on thick inner board with real silver halide photo paper, thus giving the book many desirable characteristics. Though the process is expensive and labor intensive these books are meant to give my clients a crafted, quality feel with sturdy pages that can not bend. I love that the .8mm thick pages lay flat with an almost nonapparent gutter that seriously can’t be rivaled anywhere else. Each album price includes photo the spreads, printing, binding, top grain leather, UV protective coating and a black presentation box.
Have fun giving your eyes a feast and feel free to get in touch with me to order an album for your past or future wedding! All album layouts are custom designed by Maritha.
Thank you Maritha!
