SHAINA DECIRYAN PHOTOGRAPHY
Today we have a post from SHAINA DECIRYAN PHOTOGRAPHY, which includes a fun little video. Shaina believes life is about sharing wonderful experiences with the ones you love. She is a lifestyle wedding & portrait photographer based out of Sanford & Rockledge, Florida, the Sunshine state! Enjoy!
I am a photographer, but more importantly- I am a storyteller. So naturally, one of my favorite things in the world is delivering my clients a book of their very own story. A book they can snuggle up on the couch with on a rainy day and share on their coffee table with their loved ones. A book that will gracefully outlive and outshine digital screens and social media albums.
Each of these books are hand designed by myself with care, and handcrafted in the USA by Madera Books. Designing the albums is part of my craft as a photographer, designer and genuine booklover*.
When I first set eyes on a Madera album I knew my album search was over. Tastefully and artfully crafted- I am incredibly proud to introduce them to my 2015 lifestyle wedding collections. Using a luxurious flushmount print technique your wedding images can go right to the edge of the page. The library bound layflat structure of the books turns two pages into one nearly seemless photograph, which for this 12×12″ Linen Album turns one of my full frame photos into an elegant 12×24″ print.
With my print production and design background I have a keen eye for color and print acuity, and I am very happy with how faithfully and crisply they reproduced digital pixels onto their pages. And about the pages-ooh la la! Each one is double lined with a handsome cardstock, which aside from giving the book a respectable heft, also makes the pages extra fun to turn and a lot safer around little hands than the thin book pages most albums offer. I’m kind of in love with my Artisan Albums, can’t you tell?
The question is, whose colorful wedding will be bold enough for a yellow leather album this year?
12×12 Linen Madera Album Video Review
I’ve included a video, and some fun detail shots of the embossed cover, lover suede storage case it arrives in, some of the page spreads I designed for Abram & Alexa’s wedding over in sunny Tampa, Florida and the lovely little silver foil logo they stamped on the last page for me. My very own maker’s mark. Every single bride who’s seen the album this year so far is in love, and I have a feeling I’ll get the chance to make some more wonderful albums this year.
