I’ve been meaning for some time to blog about the amazing new albums I’ve been using for my wedding clients. After roaming around the zillion of booths at the WPPI expo this past March looking at all kinds of album options, I was feeling a little overwhelmed. Then I had the opportunity to head up to Madera’s suite at the MGM to view some of their albums first hand in a less chaotic environment. Michael Norwood, owner of Madera Books, welcomed my friend and I in with warm greetings, a fridge full of yummy beer and soda, and all kinds of beautiful books sitting out before us. They also were super kind and quick to answer any questions we had. So with that, I was sold and was pumped to get started on a sample album to share with my clients.
I was beyond thrilled with the customer service I received throughout the whole process (always quick to answer any questions I had), and when I received my album, I was in love! Why do I love it?
- Handcrafted product made of European leather (you can upgrade to a premium leather or choose a faux leather if you want to save some pennies)
- Your name & date can be imprinted on the cover or spine and you have the option of adding an embedded photo to the cover
- Super thick pages cut pages that are UV coated and are seamlessly bound so there is no gutter and your pages will lie flat when you open the album
- A gorgeous presentation box
The craftsmanship of these products are JUST what I was looking for to provide my client’s with such a gorgeous product that is going to stand the test of time that can be passed on amongst friends & family for generations. And knowing Madera will stand behind their work if their are any issues with the craftsmanship of the product, cemented the fact that I will be using them for a long time to come.
So without further ado, here’s some images of the first album I made with them. (If you would like to see more images of the wedding that’s featured in this album, be sure to check it out here).
Thank you so much Tami for letting us share your work!
