Madera Books

This week we have a post from TINA JAY PHOTOGRAPHY. Tina is a girl who used to sit in a cubicle as a CPA at a public accounting firm, but now has her dream job: documenting weddings and working with amazing couples. She’s featuring 2 of our albums in this post and gives all the details below. Enjoy!

Isn’t it SO FUN getting new studio sample albums? Maybe it’s just me, but I love it:) It was high time for a new set of sample albums, and I was so excited to order them from my new album company, Madera. I had heard aboutMadera through another photographer who raved about the quality, so I knew I had to try them out. I was BLOWN away, so I’m going to order exclusively through this company….the quality is top notch. Here are the two samples I now have:

This is a 10×10 album, with the Navy, top grain leather cover:

I had the couples’ names imprinted on the front, and their wedding date imprinted on the spine:

All of the albums I provide are flush mount albums, I love the lay-flat look when you open them up:

One of the best parts of Madera? The split down the middle of the spread – it’s the smallest split I’ve ever seen! I absolutely love that about these albums:

Another view of the ultra-thin split:

Each page is nice and thick:

Another thing I love? The paper quality. These pages just feel different than any other company I used, I am in love with the quality. Here are a few examples of spreads I’ve designed, I like to design very clean layouts:

The second sample album I ordered is a 12×12 flush mount album, with a linen cover, in the smoke color:

I love that you’re able to imprint on this linen material:

This material is one of my faves:

A few more examples of spreads I’ve designed:

A little size comparison – the navy album is a 10×10, and the gray album is a 12×12:

Thank you Tina for letting us share your post!
